Gisele Bundchen is a Brazillian supermodel. She is one of the most famous supermodels and has a record in the Guinness Book of World records of being the World’s richest supermodel. She entered the fashion world in the nineties and has appeared in innumerable magazine covers and billboards. She has also been featured in many TV and print advertisements. Bunchen has endorsed more than 20 brands world over.
Bundchen was born in 1980 in Brazil. She was born to German parents and was brought up in South Brazil. She took up a course in modeling, though her actual interest lay in volleyball. In 1994, she started modeling in Brazil, after which she appeared for a national contest. Later, Bundchen moved to New York and began her career by debuting at the Fashion Week. She was featured in the cover page of the magazine Vogue in 1999. In the year 2000, she was featured in the cover page of the magazine Rolling Stones, after which she was called the “most beautiful girl in the world”.
From the beginning of her career, she has been campaigning for many brands such as Dolce and Gabbana, Christian Dior, Missoni, Victoria’s Secret and many others. In May 2006, she signed a deal with Apple Computers, a project worth several million dollars. Bundchen has her own brand of sandals, Ipanema.
Bundchen has also done her rounds in films such as Taxi, a comedy. Another one is The Devil wears Prada.
